2/18/2018 0 Comments A ‘Stuart Selection’ in MaltaIt has been an honour and privilege to train some amazing rugby players over the years, and this weekend has topped it off.
With a small selection we travelled to Malta to take part in the annual women’s sevens tournament, a wonderfully organised tournament in a land we’re hospitality is in overflow. Day 1, experience showed and we had won 4 from 4,... day 2 and our small squad down to its bear minimum or 7, but did that stop us... never! After a convincing win in the semifinal we came to the final to play the Malta Barbarians. It was an eventful final and a hard contested one too, but the sheer desire and experience shone through and the Stuart Selection on their first tour are Champions!!! A big thank you to them all and the back room staff for there support and to Malta rugby for a wonderful tournament. Lets see were we go next year 😜 The kids are in ski school again, Sarah and I are skiing / boarding when we can... and Roy and Annika went on the T-bar together (by themselves!).... I love winter.
We hope you all had a lovely Christmas and Santa brought you what you had wished for. I’m not sure about you but after three lovely days of family, food and a glass or two those new year promises are starting to flood my head already. Are you going to make any? It was 17 years ago I think, that Sarah and rented a cabriolet and threw the tent in the back and toured around Corsica. A beautiful island which ever side you visit and even more interesting in the middle (GR20 completed
with Steve, Shane, Marcel and myself in 2003). So this holiday we went back and took Roy & Annika with us to see the beauty of Corsica, we all were not dissapointed! 9/27/2017 0 Comments Late summer holidays...8/23/2017 0 Comments Back 2 School...So the school summer holidays have finished and kids have gone back to school, mothers everywhere can breath again.

Just waiting for my legs to wake up 😜 Once again the RCL Old Farts got together for a short road trip, to a Beach Rugby tournament held in Spiez. A great train trip a great day was had by all with two wins from two games. Unfortunately we could not participate in the third game to be held on the Sunday as Saturday evening we were to celebrate Guido's 50th!! But a wonderful place, a well organised tournament (thank you RC Bern & RC Thun) and a Great day out with Mates.
